The Messenger - The first Local Publication
Back in 2004, the Messenger was the first local publication created to cater to interests of the North Lakes development and quickly became recognised as the voice for this new community, and as the community flourished, so did the Messenger.
In 2009 the Messenger grew and expanded. We improved the quality of the printed product, increased page count and added more great content. We took our popular format out to more of the Moreton Bay Region where it's been well received, tripling circulation and widening the distribution.
The Messenger is financed and owned by local philanthropic business Directors of Magnum Pty Ltd/Advanced Adsignz. The magazine is one of many commitments that aims to encourage strength of purpose within our community and surrounds.
We employ skilled local people and publish current news, relevant community information and items of interest supplied by our readers. We value feedback and encourage community contribution.
We listen to our readers and our advertisers, in turn, we actively communicate their interests and concerns to the community at large and to the relevant organisational bodies. The Messenger continues to support community endeavours big and small with publicity and is financially committed to local causes and events.
Combining local news, events and great regular features, the Messenger strives to continually improve. Besides being a great read, we've got activities for young and old, a trade directory to find trusted local services easily and a free community notice board where you'll find activities and clubs to suit any interest, without having to travel too far. We also partner with local business to offer great competitions with generous prizes.
This year, we'll continue to grow and add more great content.
The Messenger is proudly independently published. Because the Messenger is entirely owned, operated and produced locally we can offer unbeatable advertising rates in an easy to read full gloss format - and best of all - a high quality local magazine.
We've been building your free weekly for fifteen years. We love making it, we hope you enjoy it too.
